Chopper Brake Components from Rullo Custom Cycles

We know when you throw your leg over your chopper you want to go fast, but let's be honest, stopping is just as important. What style of brakes are you running on your chopper? Disc brake systems, mechanical drum brake systems, and hydraulic drum brake systems are often used on choppers depending on the style and year of the bike. Generally disc brake setups have the best performance regarding stopping your bike. You will need a master cylinder, brake lines or hoses along with necessary fittings, a brake caliper with a mounting bracket, brake pads, a brake rotor, brake fluid, and mounting hardware. Hydraulic drum systems, or juiced drum brakes will consist of a drum, brake cylinder and brake shoes, often actuated by a brake cable. Mechanical drum brakes are generally the most simple setup consisting of a brake drum and shoe setup actuated by a brake cable and/or brake linkage. Choose your brake system and peruse our brake components.
